My name is Michelle Gentry , I was born and raised in a small, quiet town in Oregon, one of those places where life moves a little slower and nature feels endless. Growing up surrounded by open landscapes, forests, and wide skies, I developed an early appreciation for the beauty in everyday moments, even if I didn’t fully realize it at the time.
My Story
As I began sharing my photos with friends and family, they kept telling me the same thing, that I had an eye for noticing details others might overlook. Whether it was the way light hit a landscape, a quiet moment in nature, or something fleeting that most people would pass by, they encouraged me to share my perspective with a wider audience. That encouragement is what brought me here.
Photography, for me, is more than just taking pictures, it’s about capturing a feeling, a moment, or a perspective that might otherwise go unnoticed. I’m always chasing that unique shot, the kind that isn’t seen every day, the kind that makes you pause for a second and really take it in.
Through my work, I hope to share not just what I see, but how I see the world, raw, beautiful, and full of moments worth remembering.
